COMMEROIAL.

The Wool Market in Sydney, is very flat, and there is no desire to buy, exceptat very reduced rates, which holders are unwilling to accept. A lot of the new clip was withdrawn, the highest price offered being Is. sd. per lb., the prices obtained scoured Is. 9d. to Is. 9Jd.; ■ handwashed Is. 6d.; mixed 4^-d. to Bd. ; grease S^d. The Melbourne Economist reports as follows of the Victorian Markets: — Melbourne, Friday Evening, 15th November,. 1861. A considerable number of country buyers have been in the market during the week, but their purchases have been confined to actual wants for immediate consumption. Sales have been made of wool packs, also of provisions, candles, cheese, and various stores, but at very low prices. Some impetus has also been given to trade by a demand for New Zealand, with which a steady trade seems to be. springing up. Withal, however, there are still complaints of great stagnation in many branches. Possibly the ministerial crisis has had a prejudicial effect; and if so, the formation of a Ministry composed of our most cautious and experienced statesmen may exercise a beneficial influence. It is difficult from the telegraphic messages received to ascertain precisehr the nature of the advices by the mail, but they are generally considered to be satisfactory. The advices, so far as published, will be found in another column ; also the names of the new Ministry.
