The Almeida. —Captain Pryde.of the "Alniuicla," whicli vessel arrived at Port Chalmers on-the morning of the 15th instant, after a fine passage of seven days from "Cape Shanke," reports having been detained in Port Philip h;arbour by light winds. It is a noteworthy and unusual circumstance., that the Almeida has landed her live: stock (100 sheep and 4 horses) in first-rate condition, and without a single loss.
