SPORTS. OAMARU CALEDONIAN SOCIETY. Twelfth annual gathering of the above Society will be held on THE N.O.A. & P. ASSOCIATION'S RESERVE, ON SATURDAY AND MONDAY, Ist and 3rd of January, 1880. PRIZES TO THE AMOUNT OF TWO HUNDRED POUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. ENTRIES. NOMINATIONS for all Handicaps will be received by the Hon. Secretary (Mr. R. L. Rule) up to 2 pm. on WEDNESDAY, 29th DECEMBER. HANDICAPS for First Day's Sports will be published in the North Otago Times, and Mail, of THURSDAY, 30th. ACCEPTANCES received up to 8 p.m. of FRIDAY, 31st. HANDICAPS for Second Day's Sports will be declared on the ground at 9 a.m. on MONDAY, 3rd JANUARY.
