The ordinary price for a block suitable for a lifesize human statue being about £IOOO. The present cost of producing this Marble by Twawnul labor only is about 2s per cubic foot, £.o.b. These figures may appear incredible, bat they are nevertheless absolutelycorrect. Thus, taking the cost of production as stated, and tha very lowestwholesalequotation at 12s per foot, gives the apparently fabulous miniBum rate of COO percent, profit.
