NO. 1 COMPANY'S CLASS FIRING.
On Saturday afternoon another squad of No. 1 Company, chiefly bandsmen, fired in the third class. Seven oompeted, but two only succeeded in passing. Volunteer M'Lareu made the excellent score of 67; The following are the scores of those who passed-:
This morning, another squad of fourteen, fired," when- eight succeeded in passing. The morning was scarcely favorable for good shooting, owing to the light; being wavy and a gusty wind. Notwithstanding these drawbacks, Bandsman King made the splendid score of 73 out of: a possible 80—a really grand performance' in a standing, position.- He thus heads the list for the district in the class firing. | The following are the names of those who succeeded in qualifying themselves
