CHRISTOHURr-K. (i:Y TEi.t:',i;.\; si.) Do comb or 2. The grain market continues very quiet, and business' generally has been limited. The most pleasing feature of the week has been the opportune fall of rain, which will be of incalculable benefit to the farming interest. Wheat—Not much business has transpired in this grain. Values are a shade easier. Best milling is quoted at 4s 3d to 43 4d inferior parcels have been sold at 3s 6d to 3s lOd. Oats—The dulness which has characterised oats for some little time past still continues, and buyers, except for actual orders, are apathetic. Barley Beat is quoted at 3s 3d to 33 Gd, and other sorts 2s 6d to 2s lOd ; feed lots are quiet at Is 6d to Is 9d. Flour is in fair demand at LlO 10s to LI I. Dairy Produce—The quotation for batter stands at 5-Jil to 6d; cheese, 4d ; hams and bacon, in cloth, 9d. Lamb, 2s od and 33 ; beef, 2d to 6d ; mutton, 2d to 4d ; pork, 7<t.
