Bullocks realised from L 4 5s to LI3 10s, and cows Lb 10a to LS 2a 6d per head. V* e sold a dratt on account of Mr. George Thome, jun., flfTifraim, at quotations. We quote prime beef 25s per ] 001b. Fat Calves.—Seven yarded, and sold at from 13s to 26a per head. Fat Sheep.—) 593 head were penned, which met with good competition at from about last week's rates to a slight advance thereon. The range of prices was from 7s 3d to 113 for croasbreds, of which the supply consisted. We sold, on account of Messrs. Little Br6thers, 191 head, at 9s 6d to 9s 9<l; on account of Messrs. J. and S. Wilson, Oamaru, 211 head, at Gs 6d to 7s 0d ; and for Mr. J. C. Buckland, 107 head, at 7s 3d to 8s 6d. Quotations for prime mutton, 1?d to 2d per lb. Fat Lambs were again in good supply, an« prices realised did not reach those of last market. 559 were penned, and sold at from 4a 6d to 7s per head. We disposed of drafts on account of Messrs. J. and S. Wilson, J. C. Buekland, and Doig, at from 5s 6d to ' rr , J Fat Pigs.—Forty-four were offered, and Bold at from 12s to 66s each. Sheepskins. —We offered ft fair catalogne on Monday, which met with good comSstition, and prices were well supported. utchers' cross-bred skins realised 5a 3d to 7® 6d j merinos up to os 4d t lambskins from 7d"to lid; any pelts, skl each. Skins in bales sold at from 6£i to 7gd per lb. Hides.—Market continues very firm at late prices. Tallow.—We have made sales of medium at 245, and quote up to 25s per cwt for wellrendered tallow. Rongh fat is worth 16s per cwt. Grain.—Wheat: We have no alteration, to report in the market, prime milling being still saleable at our last week's quotation of 4s 8d; inferior descriptions are neglected. For fowl feed there is an improved demand. We quote prime milling 4s Sd ; medium, 3s 6d to 4s 3d ; fowl feed, 23 to 3s per bushel. Oats: No improvement in local demand. Considerable parcels have changed hands for shipment, or are going forward on growers account. We quote best milling, Is 7d to Is Sd; good feed, Is 4d to Is 6d. Barley : Market very languid, and brewers being well stocked with both barley and malt, only very superior samples would command the slightest attention. ' Store Cattle.—We shall offer at Mosgiel yards, on Thursday, 25th November, at 2 p.m., about 200 head of well-bred store cattle, consisting of quiet well-grown bullocks, cows, steers, and in good condition, on account of Mr. W' alter Miller, Roxburgh Station. Store Sheep. —We have particulars of a large number of cross-breds and merino 3 from several good flocks.
