Copies of Prospectus and Forms of Application for Shares can be obtained from the Brokers, Provisional Directors, or from any of the Branches of the Bank of New Zealand in this Colony, nntil the loth day of December, ISS-), at 'which date all applications must be in the hands of the Brokers, a hen the lists •will positively be closed and shares allotted. Specimens of Caswell Sonnd Marble can be seen at any of the Mnsenms in New Zealand ; the Chamber of Commerce, Wellington ; or on application to any of the officers of the CompanyIn introducing this eligible investment to the notice of the public, the promoters desire to state that the Ccmtany's right comprise the best, moat available, extensive, and perhaps most valuable Marble deposits in t,he known "world, at all even's in the Southern Hemisphere. This is sufficiently proved by Caswell Sonnd Marble securing the first prize at the late Sydney Exhibition against Italian Statuary and other va'uable varieties. They also wish to dwell upon its known certainty and non-speculative character, the ultimate success of this venture being now well established. The lowest quotation for tbi3 Marble is 12s per loot, and ranges up to £5. Larger blocks are, however, much more valuable, some pu e White Statuary, without flaws, realising as much as £20,000 sterling in Europe. The ordinary price for a block suitable for a life size human statue beir>g about £IOOO. The present cost of producing this Marble by manual labor enly is about 2s per cubic foot, f. o. b. These figures may sppear incredible, but they are nevertheless absolutely correct. Thus, taking the ccst of production as stated, and the very lowestwbolesalequotation at 12s per foot, gives the apparent'y fabulous nrnimum rate of £o' per cent profit. It is therefore, no visionary matter, ai these are leading commercial lines and the values well known, the facilities of production, shipment, high quality of product, giving a vast advantage over any like prop rty in the world. We will a'so venture to predict that the value of the Company's shares will increase at least 300 pfr cent, within twelve months of issue. Referring to consumption of these commodities, it is also enormous. The consumption of Marble, Portland Cement, and Lime, in the Australian Colonies alons during the last twelve months ha 3 been £2,872,600 sterling, and is rapidly increasing. Caswell Sound is a corr modious and safe harbor for the largest vessels in all weathers, the works of the Company being at the water's edge. The Government of colony has also promised to favorably consider special grants and concessions in aid as soon as the Company is successfully floated. For farther particulars re other minerals found at the Sound, copper, coal, gold, &c. t also the manufacture of hydraulic cement, lime, &c-, together with scientific, professional, Government, and other reports, with details of the objects and intentions of the Company, we refer to the Prospectus, which can be obtained upon application to any of the officers of the Company or from Company's Agents, th-j Bank of New Zealand, Oamam, and at any ol their branches in this colony and Australia. 800 NOBTIi u-iAGO jtfUILDING SOCISJ r.
