Specimens of Caswell Sound Marble can be st en at any of the Museums iu New Zealand ; the Chamber of Commerce, Wellington ; or on application to any of the officers of the Company. In introducing this eligible investment to the notice of the public, the promoters desire to state that the Comiany's right comprise the best, moat available, extensive, and perhaps most valuable Marble depos ta in the known world, at all events in the Southern Hemisphere. This is sufficiently proved by Caswell Sound Marble securing the first prize at the late Sydney Exhibition against I tali? n Statuary and other va'uable varieties. They also wish to dwell upon its knonn certainty and non-speculative character, the ultimate success of this venture bting now well established. Ihe lowest quotation for this Marble is 12s per foot, and ranges up to £5. Larger block* are, however, much more valuable, some pu-e White Statuary, without flaws, realising as much as £20,000 sterling in Europe. The ordinary price for a block suitable for a lifesize human statue being about £IOOO. The present cost of producing this Marble by manual labor only is about 2s per cubic foot, f. o. b. These figures may appear incredible, but they are nevertheless absolutely correct. Thu.stakingtheccstof p-oduct:on as stated, and the very lowest whole>alequotation atl2s per foot gives the appareut'y -'abul-us minimum rate of . r 0 ' per cent profit. It is therefore, novis'onary matter, a* these are leading comn ercial lines aud the value? well known, the facilities cf production, shipment, high quality of prcduct, giving a vast advantage o-'er any like (.rep r:y in the wo*Jd. We will also venture to predict that the value of the Company's shares will increa<e at least 300 per cent, within twelve months of issue. Referring to consumption of these commodities, 't is al j o enormous. The consumption of Marble, Portland Cement, ad Lime, in the Australian Colonies alone during the last twelve months has been £2,8/2,600 sfci rlinjr, and is rapidly increasing. Caswell Hound is a con mo lioua and safe harbor for the largest vessels in all weather?, the works of the Company be ng situate d at the water's edge. The Government of t is colony has also promised to favorably consider special grants and co-cessions in a'.d a3 soon as the Corn piny is successfully floated.
