We quote prime beef'22s Gd per Fat Calves. - Fourteen head were yarded, and sold at from 18s to 403 per head. Fat Sheep were in good supply, 1896 head . having been offered.. Store Cattle.—We call attention to our sale of store cattle at Mosgiel yards on Thursday, 25th instant, when we expect to offer about 150 head of quiet bullocks, cows, and heifers, from Mr. Walter Mi lerVßoxburgh Estate. Wool.—We have received a telegram from our London office, dated November 9th, stating—"Cross-bred firmer; other descriptions unchanged.'' Hides.—Maeket firm at late quotations of 20s "for butchers' green hides, end 3Jd per lb for wet-salted, at which we have placed all lots coming forward. Tallow.—Well-rendered may be quoted 24a to 245, and rough fat 16s per cwt. We report sales at quotations. Grain.—Wheat—There is still an inquiry for prime milliner samples, which could be placed without difficulty at our last quotation of 4s Bd, but stocks of thi3 description are very snort, and business consequently restricted. For lower qualities there is very little demand. We quote prime milling, 4s Sd; medium, 3s '6d to 4s 3d per'bushel. Oats —Best milling are worth Is 7d to IsSd, and feed, Is 4d to la 6d. Some sale» b.-ivo been made for shipment, and at auction last week several parcels of feed were cleared at quotations; beyond this the local deniarul bas been very small.
