Time—--2 min llf sec. Six started. V.R.C. HANDICAP. Mata- ... ... ... ... 1 Pontiff... ... ... ... 2 Secundus ... ... ... 3 Won by half a length. Mata was favorite in this race with New Zealanders, who backed him freely. Time—3 min Gf sec.
