Specimens of Caswell Sound Marble can be seen at any of the Museums in New Zealand ; the Chamber of Commerce, Wellington ; or on application to any of the officers of the Company. In introducing thi3 eligible investment to the notice of the public, the promoters desire to state that tie Company's right comprise the best, moifc available, extensive, and perhaps mcßt valuable Marble deposits in the known woilJ, at all events in the Southern Hemisphere. This is sufficiently proved by Caswell Sound Marble securing the first prize at the late Sydney Exhibition against ltali?n Statuary and other valuable varieties. They also wibh to dwell upon its known certainty and non-speculative character, the ultimate success of this venture biiug now well established. The lowest quotation for this Marble is 12s per loot, and ranges up toj £5. Larger blocks are, however, much more valuable, some i ur'e White Statuary, without flawß, realising as much aa £20,000 sterling in Europe. The ordinary price for a block suitable for a lifesize human statue being about £IOOO. Ihe present cost of producing this Marile by manual labor only is about 2s per cubic foot, f. o. b. These figures may appear incredible, but they are nevertheless absolutely correct. Thus>, taking theccstof production as stated, and the very lowest whole?alequotation at 12s per foot gives the apparency fabulous minimum rate of f0 • per cent profit. It is therefore, no visionary matter, as these are leading commercial lines and the values well known, the facilities of production, shipment, bi.ijh quality of product, giving a vast advantage o>-frr at.y like t-rop rcy in the wo'ld V» e will aUo venture to predict that the value of the Company's shares will increase at least per cent, within twilve months of issue. Referring to consumption of these commod.t:e?, it is also enormous. The consumption of Marble, Portland Cement, a> d Lime, in the Australian Colon'e? aloni during 'he last twelve moDths haj been £2,872 600 st<rlin?, and is rapid y increasing. Caswell Sound is a co:: mo jious and safe harbor for the la-gest vessel • in all weather?, the wcrks of The Company be Dg situated at thfi "water's edge. Ttie Government of t is colony ha 3 also promised to favorably consider f-pec al grants and concessions in aid as soon as the Company is successfully Heated. For further ps.rtku'ars re other minerals found at the J-oand, copper, coal, gold, 4c., also the manufacture of hydraulic ceirent, lime, &C , together with scientific, professional, Government, and other reports, with details of the objects and intentions of th • Company, we reier to the 1 rospectus, which can be obtaiae 1 upon application to any of the officers of the Company or from Company's Agent?, the Bank i f Kew Zealand, Oamaru, and at any of their branches in thi3 colony and Australia. 806
