The well-known yacht Anne Ogle went ashore on Sunday afternoon oa the Snmner fo»?-h Her crew had all gone ashore exaept oneman, and the yacht was anchored some three-auartera of a mile off shore, she commenced to drag and went nght np on th„ teach. Some of her crew walked back to the port, and the p.s. Lyttelton was sent down to her. At 9 p.m. Captain w*. called for at the Heads, and betook h)s boat to the scene of the disaster. The yacht •wm high np on the sand, but it was too dark to do anything towards getting her off then. Ifc is expected that she will be got afloat again. November 2. The yacht Anne Ogle, which went ashore near Sumner on Sunday last is breaking np.
