AUCTIONEER'S REPORT. Mr George Greenfield renorts that he held a sale of leasehold property situated on the Tables, in Leiteh's bankrupt estate. The attendance was moderate, but a buyer could not be found. The property ia still in the hands of Mr. Greenfield for unreserved gale He also submitted for sale furniture, cheese, &c. The furniture fetched satisfactory pricfc3, and the whole of the cheese (beintr a first-class saf pi'--) was sold at 5a per lb. At 2 o'clock he offered some horses, bama'cs, &c., for sale at the repository. The attendance —at least of buyers was small, only one draught colt found a purchaser at LI2, and a single buggy for hi. WELLINGTON. (ur TELEGRAPH.) October 23. Messrs. Laery and Campbell report that they sold at their market *ale to-day : Oranges, 9s 6d ; new potatoes, lid to lid ; old potatoes, 2s to 2s 3d per sack; cheese, 4d to 4Jd ; hams and bacon, 4ijd to Ocl; fresh butter, 3d to sd; salt butter, no offer: eggs, lid; fowls, 4s 9d; cured codfish, Is 3d ; other produce remains without change. ________
