A fair business has been done on the basis of last week's quotations. Of wheat a few sales art; reported at 4s 2d for first-class milling. For an extra sample an advance is to be obtained. Oats have not altered at al, and the lull is partly attribntable to increased freights lately asked by the shipping companies. Potatoes still continne very difficult to sell. There is a slightly improved feeling in barley, and first-class commands 3s 3<i to 33 Gd. Biddings in the stock market thi3 week were pretty brisk, and there was a slight improvement in consequence. Mutton, shorn, 1 Jd; unshorn, lOOlbs.
