ANOTHER APPARITION IN IRELAND.
The latest apparition is reported Jjrom Galway. The Franciscan Qhurch in the City of Galway is the scene of the alleged vision. Thp account given in the Irish liance is 51s follows :• —On the afternoon of Thursday, July 3, some girls were in the church, and over the side of the altar of St, Joseph they saw a luminous appearance. It seemed that there were three figures clearly defined on the wall in a prismatic sort of color, the centre a tall female, having her head 'wrapped about with a coif. They wqzq. frightened, and ran out of the church. Some people, one of them s, policeman, entered, and aaw tb t e £g\ires. Sp.on, they faded awjiy, an,d ithe r.u,mor. spread. In % moments | thousands of people poured into. ths ichurch tQ, gaze on, the spot whQj<s the : figuj'-es wers said to. haye beep, seen, but nothing wa.s then apparent. So crowded !did the. chuvQ,\\ became, and so excited were ishe people, that the place had to be cleared and the gates locked. In fact, the police had to keep the gates. Next rooming hundreds of the people of Galway went to confession, and communicated, offering up their isj'ayers that the vision might be by them. It is quite in the shade, and the light of none of the ohurch windows could possibly fall upon the place ; nor is there any stained glass window that could icwl itself to the creation of the, apparition. .The 1 wall is of a whity-drab color, and ig quite darkened by the fact that is in an aloove. About three feet to the side of where the apparition was seen is a large damp mark or stain strikingly like the silhouette of a kneeling woman, but the people on basing qiies- ! I tiohed say that this hast appealed since ! Thursday, and it coujd not h?,v© influenqe4 naiads, of the people who are believed to h,ava seen the apparition.
