A GUN ACCIDENT.

A lad named Benjamin All eretls haw went out 'rabbiting jn company with another lad named JVleth'vgn, Thgy e®e guri, bosiideg a ferrej aqd net. Abqut 4 o''clo,ck thpy wpre securing a rabbit at the mouth of a holp, and had placed the gun op the ground, when a second rabbit aprang away, Allerenghaw called out to Methven to shoot it, and both in exoitement ran towards the gun. Methven got it, but Allerenshaw coming up, he was in the act of handing it to him, when the charge went off, and entered Allerenshaw's body on the left Side, - tfet IfetHyen cannot caused the v gun to go os, but' believes it was'at'-full oock when put down. ,
