The tone of the sale is firm., September 12. At the wool sale to-day, 5900 bales were offered, making a total of 202,000 catalogued since the opening. The tone of the sale continues firm. Three per cent, consols, 97-|. Adelaide wheat, per 496 lbs, 45s 6d. Four and a half per cent. New Zealand loan, 1579 to 1904, 99. An attempt lias been discovered to wreck a train oil the North-Western Kailwav, near a place called Bushy. Dynamite was used by the culprits. Intelligence, has been reoeived that Frenoh war ahips have joined the squadron at the Austrian port of liagusa. September 13. The match Australian v. Sussex county team, was commenced at Brighton to-day. The Home team went first to the wickets, and were all out for 108 runs. The Australians then went in for their fitst innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had lost seven wickets for 119 runs. Macdonald was not out for. 43. The attendance at the match was very large. The wicket was not in. good order, Constantinople, September 13. Rizi Pasha has been ordered not to resist the Montenegrin occupation of Dulcigno.
