(REtfTER : S TELEGRAM, PER PRESS ASSOCIATION) Londox, September 6. The match between the All-England Eleven and the Australians was commenced to-day. The Home team went first to the wickets, and when the stumps were drawn for the day had lost eight wickets for 410 runs. "W". G. I Grace scored 152. The attendance was" very large, TJip fielding of the Australians was excellent, and the weather throughout the day was very fine. A capital wicket was pitched, and the ground was in good oyfler, SpofForth was absent. Calcutta, September 7. Intelligence has been received from Candahar that Ayoub Khan is retreating with all possible speed along the road to Herat, and is accompanied by Hassian Khan and a large body of Heratee cavalry.
