Fat "Sheep.—A r'.ur supply of 1544 came forward, consisting of 1.T44 croas-breds and the remainder merinos. There waa a good and prices experienced a slight improvement over last week s. Best croas' breds broach t from 10s 9d to 113s, and merinos 7a I'Vl t-> 10s 3d—or eqnal to abont 2Jd to 3d per lb. We sold 375 on account of "Walter Miller. Hriq. Sheepskins. —Prices realised at ourwee<cly aaction on Monday last barely supported previous week s values. Butchers crosstied aktns fetched from 3s to 5s 7d; merinos, up to 4s : station skins. Is 2d to 4s 5d each ; skins fix hales, 4d per lb. Hide*.—We report fnrther sales at late prices, say 3?d per lb for wet-salted, and 20s each for bntchers' green hides. The market fcaa a downward tendency. Tallow.—Market firm at last week's rates, at which all lots coming to hand can he placed. Grain. —Wheat: Onr last quotations are well maintained, and inquiry is good, particularly for first-class samples, with a tendency to higher values. Prime milling has changed hands at 4s Gd, esc warehouse, and have made sales at O > iruiru at 4s 3d on trucks. Medium descriptions would realise up to 4s 2d. Fowl feed is in limited demand ; we quote, as before, 2s S>d to 3s 3d per bushel. Oats: Market somewhat better, u buyers evince more disposition to meet Belters' ideas. We quote prime la Bd, and first-class feed at Is Gd to Is 7d, at which sales have been matie the week. Barley: Demand quiet. especially for medinm and inferior. First-class malting inn be placeG without ditiicultv at previous xates. We repeat last week's quotations, namely, prime making, 3s 3d to 3s Gd ; fair malting, 3s per bushel.
