ANNUAL MEETINGS OF ROAD BOARDS.

WAIAREKA BOARD. The annual meeting of this Board was held this morning, when thera worn present—Messrs. J. Reid (Chairman), Isdale, Jackson, Gilchrist, Ttodd and Elder. The minutes of the last annual meeting have been confirmed, the annual balance as certified by the auditor, was read and adopted, the Chairman congratulating the Board upon the satisfactory state of their finances. Mr. Reid was reelected Chairman and Mr. Jackson was re-elected Treasurer. It was decided that in future the Board should meet on tlio last Tuesday in each month, at one o'clock. Votes of thanks were accorded to tlio Chairman and Treasurer for their past services, and the Board rose.

WAITAKI BOARD. The annual meeting of this Board was held this afternoon, there being presentMessrs. Connell (chairman), Rome, Duncan, Dennison, Pricker, Schluter, Stewart, and Sumpter. The minutos of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed, and the annual balance-sheet, as audited, was read and adopted. Mr. H. Connell! was re-elected Chairman, and Mr. T. Procter was re-elected Treasurer. Tho monthly meeting of the Board was fixed to be held on the second Tuesday in each month, at 11.30 a.m. The Chairman ana! Treasurer were appointed to make inquiries re the banking account, and to report at next meeting. The customary vote of thanks terminated the meoting. ♦ i KAKANUI BOARD. The annual meeting of this Board was held this afternoon, there being presentMessrs. Gilchrist (Chairman), Manning,, Elder, M'Donald, Aikenhoad, M'Pherson, and Meek. The minutes of tho last annual meeting were read and confirmod, and the balance-sheet adopted. Mr. Gilchrist was re-electod Chairman for tho ensuing twelve months, and Mr, Hedloy was again elected Treasurer, It was resolved that the day and hour of meeting be as formerly, and the usual votes of ! thanks terminated the meeting.
