THE MELBOURNE 31 ARRETS. From the Argus of the 3rd inst. we extract the following :—" Breadstuff's command little notice, and transactions have been comparatively devoid of interest. Flour is still ([noted at Ll>, but, though business is reported, sales are not of sufficient importance to be noted. "W heat is likewise somev/Eeit stow. \\ c hear of a line of about 700 hags prime having been taken up at 4s 3d, but ::o other business has been allowed to transpire. In feeding grains oats lure a decidedly firmer tone, thongh that li« not been cor: finned by iny large sales. Feeding qualities range from 2s to 2s 4d, and milling are f| noted at 2s Cd to 2s 7d. Maize is going off at 3s to 3s Id, numerous trade sale 3 having been made at the price. A line of fine matting Parley has been placed at 4s 6d, and a parcel of 350 bags medium quality has been disposed of at 4s. Sales of deeding barley are also reported at 2s 3Ad.
