For a prime lot of Tuscan an advance oE 2d is obtainable on the above quotation. Fair milling lots are quoted at 3s 8d to 3s lOd. There has been ttturiderable inquiry for seed parcels, and have been made freely during the week at 4s 2d to 4s 6d. Oats continue in fair request at Is 6d to Is 7d for bes* milling, doodfeed is worth Is 4d to Is sd; lower grades Is Id to Is 2d. In barley themarket does not present any new feature, e have no alteration to note in potatoes, 22=» 6d_to 25s being enrrent rates. Flonr—Following the improved value of whe.v. millers base advanced the price 20s per ton. In grass seed, most of the business transacted has been second hand. The demand has slightly improved. though prices are m no way affected. Butter is quiet at 9.1 ; cheeee, 4d to 4£d; hams and bacon, bare, 9id, jn is quoted this week at 3d per lb; stores are largely enquied for. The beef market was very fully supplied this weefe, and there was a drop of 23 or 3s; the price quoted is 243 to 27s fti per ICOIba.
