He was remanded, pending the preferment of other charges of selling to the natives. The evidence showed an extraordinary lax observance of the Arms Act. The widow of Sergeant Kelsall, who was killed at the rifle butts two years ago, to-day received notice from Wellington that unless payment was made of the policy of life insurance on her husband's, life, it woulid lapse.
