In Australian wheat cargoes on passage have been sold, Feb. b.l. 50s 9d, March b.l. 49s to' 49s 6d, and April b.l. 48s 6d, and for arrivals at Port of call from Port Pine sales have been effected at from 53s down to oOs 6d. In New Zealand wheat, the Hereford with 7575 ors., and the Pleiades with 59/4 have arrived from Lyttelton, for which the value is about 4Ss per ewt. Prompt shipments to London are worth 423 c.f.i. V» e quote on spot Australian wheat 50s to o_s, 2nd New Zealand 47s to 50af for 4961b. Australian Sour 35s to 375, and New Zealand 33s to 355. _ t „ . . ■ Tallow and Hides. —The tallow market has been fiat, and Russian has deebned. There has been a moderate demand for Anatolian Tallow, the sales during the past fortnight having comprised 2100 casks; but prices have declined 6d to 9d, the value today of good to fine mutton being 32a 6d to 34a 9d, and f a ' r to fine beef tallow 31s fid to 32a 6d per cwt. The arrivals have been lather large, and the stock now in first hands is about 10,000 casks. Hides are dull of without material change on late prices, but the tendency is downwards.
