The district to extend from Awamoko to Longslip Station on the Otago side, thence from Lake Ohau to Elephant Bill on the Canterbury side, by the Watershed. All horses qualified must be ka .wn to be the bona fide property of the nominator, »nd to have been three months iu the district prior to the meeting. Second horse to receive the entrance money in all events. Qualification fee, £l. Three horses to start, or no race. All entries must be sent in to the Secretary, Whare-kuri Hotel, not later than 10 p m. on the night prior to the meeting. The Otago Jockey Club rules strictly adhered to. Five per cent, to be deducted from all sfcskfis# The decision of the stewards in all cases to be final. , No protest will be entertained unless accompanied with LI, which _wi'l be forfeited should the same prove frivolous.
