Cross-bred skins from 3s Id to 4s Id ; menno, 2s bd to 3s4d : hides, 10s to 15s ; tallow, 2d per lb. The} also held their fortnightly stock sale at M'Kay's Yards, on Friday last The sales were as follows On account c>f Mr. John Cameron, 16S cross-bred ewes and wethers (fat) at 14s 3d, equal to 3d lb; on account of Mr. J. A. Brown, «. h :taole, from Waitaki, 9 fat steers and 2 cow 3, LIO eaUi , on account of Mr. J. S. cows at LS 7s 6d, or equal to 2-js p«r tOOlbs ; on account of sundry vendors 10 head cows and steers, L 5 12s Gd to L 7 3s. The next fafrpy place on Friday, 13th August.
