Mr. Seddon's Payment of Members of the General Assembly Bill provides for the payment of L2lO per session to each member of the House of Representatives living more than three miles from the place of meeting, and L 57 to those residing within three m;]es. To Legislative .Councillors living outside of the three miles limit LIQO per session is to be paid, but those within that radius will not rep.eiye payment. Actual travelling expenses also ar3 to bp allowed. No liopor rarium is to be paid to Ministers, or to the Speaker or Chairman of Committees of either House. © (FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
