AUCTIONEER'S REPORT. • Mr. A. H. Maude reports having held a sale on Wednesday, 23rd June, on account of Messrs. Bisset and Youngson, at Burnaide Paddock, Elders lie, of live and dead ■tock. The attendance was small, and bidding moderately brisk, the following prices Joeing realised Draught mares and geldings, from LI 1 to L3O; double-furrow ploughs, L 5 5s ; dray 3, L 7 15* to L 9 ; and other things at fair rates. He also reports having held a sale yesterday at the Terminus Hotel, Duntroon, on account of the trustee in G. A. Harris' estate, of the stock and fornitora. The attendance was large, and the bidding was brisk, gcod prices being resCied for all the different lots. THE LABOR MARKET. Mr. Henry Macintosh reports for the week ending 26th June, as follows t The demand for labor has been firm during the week, numbers of all classes meeting with engagements. Ploughmen are plentiful. Shepherds, married couples for stations or fans*, with or without encumbrance, carpenter*, and tradesmen of all' kinds, scarce.
