TO THE EDITOR OF THE OAMARU MAIL. Sir,—You have inserted a letter from the party-signing himself " Veritas." If he had left out the fifth letter in his name I could have understood such nonsense. He warns the publio about an explosion, and yet a candle will not burn. One who had 18 per oent. of water in his milk got off. It was stated in Court that in a pint of milk or 1G ounces, there was 13 ounces and Q drachms of wator. If there is this quantity of water, and if tbo Dunedin Magistrate decided fairly, I should like to know what is the correot English name of the deoision of the verdant justico in Oamaru on the 21st inst. in the case of Sarah Jones.—lam, etc., Paid Milk SsWW,
