The grain market continues exceedingly quiet with nothing special to note, wheat remains' about 3s 6d for good milling; se®d lota, 4a to 4s 3d. Oats are qaoted at Is 4d to la 4|d ; good feed quality, Is 2d to Is 3d. Barley, best, 3s to 3s 4d. The stock market week was more spirited than last week. Mutton commands a shade of 2£d per lb, and beef 20a per lOOlbs. Pigs, L 4 each; inquiry still very active.

Outside of the Exchange about 600 bags were cleared off by anction at 3s 6Jd to 4s 4Ad, but 4s od offered for prime wa3 refused. Oatshave only a moderate inquiry. About oou taws were sold in the Exchange rooms at Is jl3 t 0 2a 2d for common to fair feed, and a. Hm of 250 bags fine milling for shipment was at 2s o£d in bond. Maize found oayers in the same room to the extent of 1300 bags at 2s 6£d for old and 2s 7d for new, wbi e 2s Sd was obtained for Fiji. Cape tarley has been disposed of at 2s 3d, and common malting sorts brought from 3s 6d to 3a 8d and 3s 9d.
