Wellington June 24.

At the session of the University Senate, the following report of tile Examiners was passed L.L.B. Degree : Frederick Fitchett, 8.A., and Robert Henry Rattray, B.Av, each to be granted L.L.B. Degree honors. JariiesHay, first-class in languages atad literature! and. first-class in politioal science. William H. West, B. A., has passed the first examination for L.L.B. Frederick Fitchett, first-class in political science. To George Montgomery the medical scholarship was awarded, It was resolved that James Hay, 8.A., and Frederick Fitohett, 8.A., having taken honors, be both admitted to the Degree of M.A. ; that Anne Bolton, Andrew Cameron, Helen. Cameron, Wm. Henry Herbert, James Ronaldson Thornton, and Herbert William Williams do pass for B.A. ; that the senior scholarships be awarded to the following candidates ! —Margaret Lillian and Florence Edgar, for Mathematics 3 Wm. Bookless Douglas, for Greek j Benjamin Michael Connell, for Latin ; John Innes, for English ; Gertrude Grierson, for English ; John King Davis, for Latin ; Wm. Fidler, for Latin, French, and Mental Science ; Alexander Montgomery,.for Zoology ; Qhilton, for Mathematics j Wm. Deans Milne, for Latin < Wm. Henry Herbert, for chemis-try-and physical science. Votes of thanks were passed to Dr. Carpenter for the trouble.he has taken in the management of the last examination, to Mr. Carleton for the successful arrangement for the examination, and to Mr. Thomas Douse,- Chief Clerk in the University of London, for his services in the conduct of the examinations.
