IN accordance with the Standing Orders of the Legislative Council in the matter of Local Bills, notice is hereby given that it is intended to introduce, at the present Session of the General Assembly, BILLS to the following purposes, viz. : 1. A Bill to remove doubts as to the covenants for renewal contained in ceitain leases granted, or agreed to be granted, by the Municipal Coporation of Oamaru 2. A Bill to enable the exchange of certain lands with the Government and Otago School Commissioners respectively, that is to say : (a.) The present Gaol Site and Police Paddock, in Block 95, Town of Oamaru, and all the Sections in Block 31 of said town (except 6 and 16, already Municipal Property) to be transferred to the Corporation (b.) That piece of land in Block 95 of said Town lying between Itchenbtreet, Severn-street, the Railway, and Section 1 of Herslett's Claim, to be set apart for a site for public buildings ; and 2 acres 2 roods and 26 poles of Reserve D, lyintf between Chelmer-3treet extension, the Town Belt West, and the Railway, to be set apart as a site for a new Gaol „ (c.)
