IN accordance with the Standing Orders of the Legislative Council in the matter of Local Bill?, notice is hereby given that it is intended to introduce, at the present Session of the General Assembly, BILLS to the following purposes, viz. : 1. A Bill to remove doubts as to the covenants for renewal contained in ceitain leases granted, or agreed to be granted, bj the Municipal Coporation of ramaru 2. A Bill to enable the exchange of certain lands with the Government and Otago School Commissioners respectively, that is to say : (A.) The present Gaol Site and Police Paddock, in Block 95, Town of Oamaru, and all the Sections in Block 31 of said town (except 6 and 16, already Municipal Property) to be transferred to the Corporation! (b.) That piece of land in Blc c'-l 95 of said Town lying between Itchenstreet, Severn-3treet, the Railway, and Section I of Herelett's Claim, to be set apart for a site for public buildings ; and 2 acres 2 roods and 26 poles of Reserve D, lying between Chelir.er-street extension, the Town Belt West, and the Railway, to be set apart as a site for a new Gaol (c.) Section 11, Block 75, to be transferred to the Otago School Commissioners (to complete the site for the new South School), in exchange for Educational Section 14, Block 37, to be transferred to the Corporation ; such transfers to be made subject to the existing tenancies thereof respectively. Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the District Roard Board of Kakanui to close portions of Roadline, as shown on survey map between Sections 50, 52, 53, and 29, 2S, 27, and in Sections 27 and 25, Block X., Oamaru District.
