The Australian cricketers commenced a match against eleven of Yorkshire County, at De wsbury to-day. The ground was not in good order. The home team went in first, and their innings closed for 55 runs. Spofforth and Palmer each took five wickets. The Australians then went in, but only, succeeded in scoring 65 runs. The Yorkshireinen commenced their second innings, and when the stumps were drawn for the day, had scored, gl runs for the loss of one wicket.
