THE MISSING COLLEEN BAWN. Wellington", June 6.

The Hinemoa returned this morning from a search for the missing schooner Colleen Bawn. She visited several sounds and islands in the vicinity where the vessel was supposed to be lost, but without success. On Steven Islands, some planking, decking, and a mast were found ; but these are thought to be a portion of the schooner Merlin, wrecked there some months ago. The last heard of the Colleen Bawn was on the night of the 6th May, when she wa3 spoken by the schooner Old Jack. The captain of the Colleen Bawn then reported that one of the crew was sick, and was advised, as it was likely to be a dirty night, that it would be prudent to run to Port Underwood for ahelter. Subsequently, a sonth-east gale sprang up, and it i 3 supposed that the little vessel, which is 16 years ol f i, fonndered. The crew consisted of Captain Pike and two seamen.
