Mr George Greenfield reports that he h«ld ft sale of furniture, onions, cheese, turnips* carrots, Sc., at his mart, Thamesstreet, when the attendance was °. n moderate and the bidding not very brisk. Cfeeese sold at from to 7d per lb. per case, onions Id per lb, carrots 3s per bag. Furniture at low rates. He also offered for sale equity of redemption of section 5, block 53, Aln-street. but the offers made not reaching the vendor's reserve, it was passed, bat is for sale by private treaty by Mr. Greenfield. He also held a sale of cutlery, plated goods, &c„ in the evening. The attendance was fair and very good prices were obtained. , ~ T Mr. R. Leigh reports that he held a sale of fruit and forest trees at his mart, lyneatreet, on Saturday. The attendance was fair and the competition for the various lota good ; fruit trees in particular found buyers at very satisfactory price*.
