Arrivals from the country district show a further falling off in wheat, which figures at only 1,09« bags, while on the other band arrivals of Hour have mneh increased, being 8,339 bags, but, as we have already stated, a large parcel wa3 lately taken up for export. Feeding grains are very slow, and of oats are only made when business 13 forced. Quotations for feeding, common to fine, range from 23 Id to 2s 4d, and sales of milliner are reported at 2s sd. Maize has a trade demand at onr quotation of 3s 2d to 3d 3d for good old, and 3s 5d for good new. There is a fair enquiry, but supplies are short of requirements.
