A Biirmah correspondent says s that -the Mandalay astrologers mention that, in order to remove the evil influence, great propitiatory sacrifices, njugt bp and'the victims be taken from all ranks to the number of 400. The priests contribute 100, and the remainder are being composed of men, woflipn, at}d children.
