RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
THIS DAY(Before T. W- Parker, Esq., R.M.) - DBUNKENNESS, Leo Landan waa sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment for haying been drunk and disorderly in Thames-street last night. Alexander M'Lean, who had been admitted to bail on a charge of having been drunk and disorderly, did not surrender to his recognisance, and his bail of 20s was ordered to be estreated. . DEDNKENNESS AND DAMAGING 04-01, PROPERTV. Julia Paul was charged with having been drunk and disorderly in Thamesstreet last night, and with having damaged three of the value of LI 4s, the property of the Government. On the first charge the prisoner was ordered to pay: a fine of 18s 6d, arid to pay Is 6d for cab hire, with the alternative of undergoing three-days' imprisonment, On the second cliargo she yraa fined Is, and ordered to pay 24s for property damaged, or in default of immediate payment to suffer eight days' imprisonment with.hard labor, . | FIGHTING. - I George Burns and Joseph Smith were charged with having in Thames-street last
night conducted themselves in a manner calculated to . provoke\a breach of the peace, and whereby a breach of the peace was occasioned. They were each ordered to pay fines of 40s or go to gaol for tea days with hard labor.
