It has been stated that in addition the Bata,via had a risk of LSOOO onthe vessel, but the; local agents (Messrs, Bright Bros, and Co.) know nothing of it. The above insurances, are on the cargo alone, the hull being underwritten in English offices on* her last- trip. Messrs. Cargills,; Gibbs and Co. were insured on. their shipments by her to the amount of L 32,000. ■
