MESSRS FLEMING AND HEDLEY'S SALES.
About 600 persons were present at the sale. The proceedings were opened by a sumptuous luncheon at 11.30 o'clock, supplied by Mr. Fleming, and ably superintended by Mr. Gordon, of the Temperance Hotel, to which 200 persona set down in relays in a large marquea. Mr. Menlove acted as chairman, and, in proposing the health of Messrs. Fleming aud Hedley, whioh was drank with numerous and enthusiastic cheers, he made a few remarks suitable to the occasion. Mr. Hedley replied in appropriate terms.
