It is important that the farmers of this district should be made aware of the fact that there is 110 colonial coal so well-adapted to the purposes for which they r'equire such fuel as that of Shag Point. It is cleaner, cheaper, and more economical than any other coal, either foreign or colonial, for threshing machines and their kindred purposes. Of this fact these who have used it bear the most satisfactory of all testimonies—they will now burn no other. It is delivered in Oamaru by the truck load at 18s Gd per ton. Orders may be sent to any coal dealer in Gamara or to the pit, whence it will be sent promptly and direct to any siding.—[Adyt.J
