It is generally thought to be quite probable that Mr. Gladstone will not accept office should the Liberals come into power. The revenue for Queensland for the past quarter shows an increase of L 30,000 compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. There has been a saving of expenditure to the extent of L2 9,000;
