MUNICIPALITY OF OAMARU. OAMARU WATERWORKS. ENDERS are invited, to be lodged with the Town Clerk here by noon of THURSDAY, the 18th INST., for Excavating Pipe Tracts, Laying and Jointing 11 Miles of Iron Pipes—lß-inch to 3-inch, and Fixing Valves and Fire Pings; also, Fixing Lead Services, Stop Cocks, &c. The work "will be let in three contracts in terms of plans, specifications, conditions, and schedules, to be seen at the City Engineers' Offices, Dnnedin and Chris tchnrch, and here at the Engineer's Office. THE following alterations will be made in the train arrangements on these days:— The 4.10 p.m. Timaru Train will leave Oamarn at 5 p.m., and the 4.30 p.m. from Timarn will leave at 5.20 p.m., each being fifty minntes later at all stations to destination. The 5.20 p.m. "Waimate Branch Tram will not leave Waimate till 6.20 p.m., and will be one hour later both going and retimung. The 3.50 p.m. Duntroon Train will not leave Oamarn till 5 p m., and the 6.25 p.m. from Duntroon will leave at 7.15 p.m., and be fifty minntes later at all stations to Oamarn. The 4.15 p.m. Ngapara Train will leave Oamarn at 5.25 p.m., and the 6.5 p.m. train from Ngapara will leave at 7-5 p.m., and be fifty-five minutes later at all stations to Oamarn.
SOUTH LINE. A Special Passenger Train will leave Oamaru each day at 5.40 p.m. for Hampden, stopping at all intermediate stations.
OAMARU TO RACECOURSE. Trains will run at short intervals from 12.20 p.m. till 2 p-m., and from 4 p.m. till half an honr after last race. The morning trains from, and the evening trains to, Timaru and Duntroon will stop opposite the Coarse. Fare : Oamaru to Course (return), Is.
Ordinary Single Fare Tickets issued from Dunedin and Timaru, and all intermediate stations, to Oamaru, on March 17th and 18th, -will be available for return up to and including 19th ; and ordinary Single Fare Tickets issued from Christchurch and stations north of Timaru to Oamaru on 16th and 17th March -will be available for return up to and including 19th.
