HaWdwap Steeplechase of 60 sovs; about 3 miles, over sach course as the Btewarde may direct; nomination, 2 sovs ; acceptance, 2 sovs. 3. Hack Selling Steeplechace of 25 tovs; the winner to ba sold for L2l, alt surplus money to go to race fund ; about 2 miles, over such course as the Stewards may direct; post entry, 2 aovs; lOstup. 4. Avtvmx Handicap of 50 sovs; If mile; nomination, L2; acceptance, 12. 5. Novel Race of 50 sovs ; the winner to be sold immediately after the race; the whole of the proceeds to go to the race funds; nomination, 12; once round. «. All races to be run under the Dunedin Jockey Club Rules, and new scale of weight far Tge. . All entries and acceptances must be in sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary. and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, description and age of horse. The jockey's colons, those registered excepted, must be stated in the entrance form, under a penalty of 2 sovs, which while nnliqidated will disqualify any horse whose owner or nominator has incurred such a -^penalty. Ail person* intending to withdraw horses iare required to give notice to that effect to •the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales at least naif an hoar before the advertised time of! starting. Any person neglecting or refusing tfe comply with this rulo shall pay a fine to Tb« imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding 5 sovs to the race fund.
