RULES AND REGULATIONS. All races to be run under the Dunedii Jockey Club Rules, and new scale of weigh fernge. . All entries and acceptances must be n sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary and contain entrance money, sweepstakes description and cge of horse. The jockey's colors, those respstered ex cepted, must be stated in the entrance form under a penalty of 2 sovs, which whili unHqidatea will disqualify any horse whoa< •wner or nominator has incurred anch i penalty. All persons intending to withdraw horsei are required to give notice to that effect tc the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales at least Zhalf an hour before the advertised time oi starting. Any person neglecting or refusing *o comply with this rule shall pay a fine U Ibe imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding & sots to the race fund. In the event of any person entering a protort, the sum of L2 2s must be lodged with tha Secretary before such protest is considered; this sum to be forfeited to the funds should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross of all moneys paid in accordance with -■the programme for expenses.
