All races to be run under the Dunedin Jockey Club Rules, and new scale of weight f sr ' All entries and acceptances mast be in ■sealed covers, addressed to the Secretary, and contain entrance money, sweepstakes, ■description and age of horse. Th* joukey's colors, those registered excepted, must be stated in the entrance form, sotder a penalty of 2 sots, which while aaJiqidated wHL disqualify any horse whose •wner or nominator has incurred such a penalty. All persons intending to withdraw horses are required to give notice to that effect to the Secretary or Clerk of the Scales at least half an hoar before th«s advertised time_ of : atarting. Any person neglecting or refusing te comply with this role shall p»y a fine to .be imposed by the Stewards, not exceeding :fi sot* to the race fund. In the eTent of any person entering a proNest, the sum of L2 2s must be lodged with £h« Secretary before such protest is conndered ; this sum to be forfeited to the foods should the Stewards consider the protest frivolous or vexatious.
