AUCTIONEER'S REPORT. Mr. George Greenfield reports that he held a sale of leasehold property, furniture, &c., at his mart, Thames-street, to-day. The attendance was large and the bidding brisk, all the furniture fetching good prices. The leasehold was passed in, not reaching vendor's reserve, but will no doubt be disposed of privately. BLENHEIM. [by telegraph. 1 March 4. Mr. O'Snllivan reports:—Wheat, 3a 8d to 3a lOd ; barley, 3s to 3s 9d; oats, Is 2d to Is 4d; ryegrass seed, 2s 6d. These prices are offered, bnt farmers are holding out for an advance. Redwood's Sour, old, U4. Bran i* overstocked. Is per bushel; pollard, L 5; potatoes, nominal, 503; cheese, Sd; bacon and hams, 9d and lOd. Stock—Fat cattle, 20s per 100lb3; store steers, L 4 to L 5» scarce; milch cows, L 6 to L 9; fat wethers. 6l to 7s; store do, 2s 6d to 3s 6d ; horses, heavy draughts, L 25 to L 3 5; hacks, XS to Ll4. [by ttleorafh.] March 4. _ The wheat market is a shade firmer in tone, and all parcels offering for delivery within the next three or four weeks are readily taken np at 3s lOd to 3s IOJd at Christ church, and 4s for parcels put on board at Lyttelton. There are a good number of buyers in the market. Oats do not present any change in onotations. The quantity offering is not large, farmers holding back. The price is Is 4d to Is od for good, Is 6d to Is 7d for milling. Several parcels of oats are being put into the English vessels now loading on growers' account as an experiment. This has been induced partly through a concession in rates of freight having been granted by several shipping companies. Barley.-—Sales are being made at 3s 3d to 6d for good average lots. Prime samples of undoubted quality have been quitted np to 3s 9d.
Hoar is quoted by millers at LlO 10s to XI1; sharps at TA ; bran at L 3. Oatmeal has been reduced to LIL Grass seed is without alteration, and lots ore hard to quit. Prices remain at 2s to 2s 6d. Cocksfoot is held large, and buyers will not give more than 2Jd for large lines. Dahy produce.—Batter, 6§d to 7id; cheese, 4sa to S^cL
