The R[ew Zealand koan and Mercantile Agency report, under date I<ondon, 2nd March ;—The wool sales progress firmly; They comprise about 187,000 bales, and the -list.- has no,w ; been closed. 26,000 bales have been sent to the manufacturing districts direct. The sales will oloae an the 13th Maroh- TJp. to date 121,000 bales have, been, sold.. The principal advances have been in crossbred, superior greasy, superior combing, washed, and scoured. The competition by both Home and Foreign buyers is active. The next sales will commence on the 20th prox., 350,000 bales being admissible. The tallow market is quiet, -best,mutton ,being worth,L37 arid best beef,. L 35 ,10s per ton. Foreign arrivals are light! In wheatj Adelaide, worth Gos;' v an.d -?[e<y Sj7s per 4§§lbs. The leather market is flat*.
